Ingredients
- 2 lbs broccoli, 6 to 7 inches in length
- 1/4 cups extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp of water
- 3/4 salt
- 1/2 cracked black pepper
- 1 lemon
- 2 24"x12" sheets of aluminum foil
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Directions
- Preheat grill for 15 minutes on high
- Cut broccoli in half lengthwise. Use peeler to remove tough outer part of steps
- Whisk together EVOO, water, salt and pepper
- Cut lemon in half side to side
- Place broccoli in alternating row with cut side down and seal foil into pouch.
- Grill broccoli packs for 8 minutes on med-high. Flip 1/2 way through.
- Slit foil to vent. Put broccoli and lemon (cut side down) grill for 8 min turning broccoli every 2 minutes.
- Cut broccoli into 2 inch pieces and transfer broccoli to bowl.
- Squeeze lemons over broccoli. Dizzle with EVOO and season with salt and pepper. Top with parmesan cheese.
