ATK oven fries

Ingredients

  • 1lb yukon gold sliced in half lengthwise, then in planks
  • 1 tbsp veg oil
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425. Put oven rack in lowest position.
  2. Spray rimmed baking sheet with coming spray, then spread oil
  3.  Whisk corn starch and water. Then microwave 20 seconds at a time until pudding like.
  4. Combine with potatoes
  5. Spread on baking sheet cut side down. Evenly spaced
  6. Cover with greased foil and bake for 12 min
  7. Remove foil and bake for 10 to 18 minutes
  8. Turn potatoes and bake another 10 to 18 minutes.
  9. Season with salt generously  immediately. Use spatula to mix
  10. Transfer to paper towels to degrease
